Brook M. Thibault is a Virginia Beach trial lawyer, former Associate Counsel for CMA CGM (America) LLC the world's third largest container ship company, and Public Defender, and Counsel at John D. Hooker Jr., & Asscoiates. As Associate Counsel for CMA CGM, Brook shared in the corporate legal responsibilities associated with the company as subsidiary and agent for CMA CGM S.A. a French Domestic Society Anonym; including complex commercial real estate transactions, transportation and maritime law, and international asset search and collection.As Assistant Public Defender, Brook has represented hundreds of accused individuals in matters ranging from minor traffic infractions to serious violent crimes. Brook is a firm believer in the Constitution and it's protections against illegal searches and seizures.Brook was born in upstate New York and attended college at the University at Buffalo, where he majored in Political Science with a concentration in Legal Studies.He then moved to Virginia Beach to attend Regent University School of Law. Brook is a member of the local Bar Associations and is an active member of the Community. Since 2003, he has played hockey for the Newport News, Chesapeake and Virginia Beach Hockey Leagues.
